CALL FOR ARTISTS
We are seeking sculpture artists to create unique outdoor sculptures for the Hidden History Sculpture Trail, which will be located along the Lake Andrea walking path in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Five artists will be selected to create a sculpture, and each sculpture will interpret one of the five "hidden" historical stories. Each artist will be paid $5,000. Available Materials
Metal materials from the Pleasant Prairie Power Plant, in a variety of shapes and sizes, are available for use. The artist selected for the Power Plant sculpture will have first choice of materials. Any remaining materials may be used for the other four sculptures.Â
A site visit to view the material may be possible upon request.
Assistance may be available to break down large pieces of metal into smaller pieces. Assistance may also be available to transport larger pieces.
